Year 8 Girl’s Touch Rugby

The Year 8 Girl’s Touch Rugby Team visited Cockburn School on Thursday 18th January for the South Leeds round of the Leeds City Touch Rugby competition, which is run annually by Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Like last year, the game was extremely close, with both teams showing a good defence and conceding very few tries. MSM tries were scored by both Aurelia and Ala, however our performance really showed a team effort, with skilful attributes demonstrated by all our players.

Well done to the Year 8 Touch Rugby Team, who came out as winners and have now qualified for the Leeds City finals after the half term holiday.
