Year 10 Rugby

The Y10 Rugby team entered a Leeds tournament in late Autumn with high hopes. They came up against stiff opposition and with a depleted squad, due to injuries. Despite this, the team showed grit, determination, resilience and skill throughout their games.

The team ran in some excellent tries with the highlight being Imikan’s physical run which, despite many players hanging off him, saw him score from 20 metres out. Layton Reed-Haigh showcased his rock solid defence throughout the games and worked well in marshalling the defence.

The results did not go the team’s way on the day but they can be proud of their efforts in working as a team to put together some high quality performances.
