Year 10 Mock Results Day
The 4th of July was a glorious day for Year 10 as they celebrated their Mock Results. The culmination of all the hard work was a joy to see as students opened up their mock results and saw the rewards for their incredible hard work. This fantastic achievement did not come without sacrifice though as students got themselves into fantastic habits with revision and boosters. This was evident with a record breaking 162 students staying back on one night for English support, and regular average attendance of 150 students for each booster after school and 120 students each morning. We could not be prouder of their efforts and hope this continues to build as they move towards Year 11.
Year 10 were challenged to Rise up and become their best during this period. They did this with great success, changing everyday habits and stepping into the process with a determination to succeed. The revision resources have been fantastic to see particularly those of Joshua Dobry who has set a great example to his peers, earning nominations from multiple subject areas and an impressive 6 grade 9’s at this early point of the year.
It would be impossible to not also shine a spotlight on the following students who have all achieved an average grade 6 or higher across their recent Mock Exams:
Harry Carter, Joshua Dobry, Arianna Degillo, Connor Jackson,Neave Willmott,
Gabriella Johnson,Shruthika Sreedev, Catreena Kerry, Alaana Barcenilla,
Oliver Bennion, Charis Okonye, Jessica Ansah, Isla Jurada, Lamek Zari, Lilianna Sep, Romal Wardak, Edjair Amaro and Nicole Otremba.
After the mocks had finished, and results were collected, students sat in bespoke sessions to reflect on the process and set targets to support them as they move into Year 11. Students who were disappointed reflected with a great deal of integrity and honesty and are in a great position to move forward.
At the start of the year the students were told that their reputation is their greatest asset. I can confidently say to you that this is definitely the case and Year 10 have set the bar high. We can’t wait to support them in their next steps as we approach Year 11 together.
