Year 7 Touch Rugby

Before half term the Year 7 girls touch rugby team won the South Leeds Schools tournament and gained a place in the final.

On Tuesday 21st February they played in the final against the best schools across Leeds. They were excellent and worked so hard during the competition, making loads of improvements. The tournament was so close that it came down to the last game. The girls played against Farnley Academy (winning 2-1), Leeds Trinity (winning 5-4) and losing closely to Carr Manor
(2-1), which won them second place and runners up in the tournament.

A fantastic achievement. Well done Anahi, Emanuela, Aurelia, Saffron, Saliem, Mahta and Cherisse, and congratulations to Emanuela who was the MVP of the tournament.
