At Mount St Mary’s we not only welcome diversity, but also embrace the cultural and linguistic talents our students have to offer our school and wider community. Last Thursday saw the launch of the MSM Language Ambassadors, a talented team of forty four students speaking in excess of twenty four languages between them. These students have volunteered for various school events to use their language for the benefit of our school community. Their first role was being translators for parents and children at our Open Evening last week. The translation service was a great success and there are more planned opportunities for the Language Ambassadors to promote and use their linguistic skills in the future. Stronger together by working towards removing language barriers and improving open lines of communication.
