Leeds Rhinos Rugby Match

On Friday 19th April, 14 Year 7 and 8 students went to Headingley Stadium to watch Leeds Rhinos play against Huddersfield Giants.

As part of the trip, the students got to meet some of the Leeds Rhinos women’s players and be the guards of honour, where they welcomed the men onto the pitch at the start of their game. With one Huddersfield Giant fan and 13 Leeds Rhinos fans, the close game made it interesting for everyone. No matter which team they supported it was great to see the students enjoying live sport and for some it was the first time they had seen a professional rugby match.
