HELPING HANDS CELEBRATION
During a recent Helping Hands session, our Year 7 and 8 students have worked together to show Retribuam by giving something back during the Lent period. Students have been engaging in various Easter activities such as painting and colouring eggs and chicks, alongside making their own Easter baskets and decorations. Their fantastic creations have been put on display in the Library for everyone to see and celebrate. As the true meaning of Easter has deep significance in our lives at Mount St Mary’s, the students have also created their own stained-glass window in the shape of the cross and have added a prayer to signify what Jesus sacrificed for us.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him still shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16
Our students always make Helping Hands club such a joyful experience and it has been brilliant seeing them develop such positive connections with others, whilst engaging in such meaningful activities.
