England Women’s Rugby League game
As we see the Women’s Rugby League World Cup start, 25 girls from Years 7, 8 and 9 took the opportunity to attend the opening game for group A, where England played Brazil.
On Tuesday 1st November we travelled to Headingley Stadium, where we saw a great performance by the England team in a comfortable win over Brazil, 72-4.
I hope that watching a live game has inspired some of the students to continue to play Rugby and pursue their passion further by joining teams in the local area.
We wish the England Women’s team the best of luck as we continue to support them and follow their success in the rest of the competition.
