“We finished 2019 at Mount St Mary’s in the only, and best, way we know – Christmas Smackdown! Between Christmas sing-a-longs and staff invoking Rihanna and Billy Eilish, we saw other staff perform their own TikToks and a fantastic rendition of the 12 Days of Mount St Mary’s. Other events involved the eating competition, a staff relay depositing vegetables in boxes and seeing four of our Year 7 and Year 8 students dressed as Christmas trees – a real highlight!
St Matthew were victorious, with St John second, St Luke third and St Mark fourth.
Thank you to all – staff and students – who took part and supported their houses. It makes for a really enjoyable end to the year!”
